I'm not going to say I've been busy and that's why it's been a while since I've been around, because I haven't been...or at least not in the conventional sense.
A few months back I got Skyrim as a gift.
Need I really say more? XD
Been playing like my life depended on it. With no regrets I might add.
But I just recently finished all the main questlines (and have been wandering around aimlessly lost since)
, so now I can start working on some new cosplays that I have in mind. One is from Skyrim and the other is a tribute to a game from the 90's that I grew up with. I should note here that the reason I never announce my cosplays before they're finished is because I can never be certain of if I will finish them in time. I'm one of those people who are terrible with deadlines. So when and if they get done, I will then post photos.
In my last entry I mentioned that PookaMoe
and I would be entering the masquerade at Montreal Comic Con as the twins from How To Train Your Dragon. We did a skit, a scene right out of the movie, recorded the audio and sound effects ourselves, using one track from the OS and even had some help from Moe's dad as the voice of Gobber. Anyway, our costumes and props are now award winners in the Novice division.
We got ribbons and applause and all that good stuff! It was so cool and I still can't believe we won! Looking forward to competing again in the future.
Gotta get back to cosplay construction now. Look for new cosplay photos in a few months!
